A very creative diary cum book in calendar format divided into 12 stories, one for each month of the year. Each story talks about ways in which kids can learn to contribute in saving the planet though in small ways. The activities at the end of each story are curated so thoughtfully which include writing the days, missing dates in order and learn that the order changes every month, drawing monthly constellation, a hands-on activity, and a little creative writing on the child experience about it. All in all lots to learn and do in one book. I definitely recommend this.

The author’s diligence in crafting this book lies in its tiniest details. Every page is worth spending a few minutes esp the drawings. The narration makes one think, how easy it is to find nuggets of lesson in day-to-day life. It’s a visual book – one that makes you smile throughout. Kids will LOVE it. And adults will cherish it.

This is such an insightful book about sailing along with emotions and bouncing back. It is amazing to read the mind of a little girl accepting and acknowledging her feelings and emotions in a clear and simple manner which people – young and even grown-ups, can resonate with. The story also subtly highlights the beautiful and rare combination of bravery and creativity which is so refreshing. Being a real-life story, it will further impress upon the children to reflect and learn from. Also, love the illustrations that the author has drawn to support how she was feeling. This book deserves to be in all young children’s’ libraries. Looking forward to more books from this young author.

I got this book as a gift from my sister-in-law. My 6-year-old daughter Tia is loving this book. She makes me read it every day even though Hindi hasn’t even started in her school.

Recently got this book for my 7 year old son. Impressed with the illustrations of the book. It is quite interactive with exercises given in between. This book covers all aspects of time, 24 hour clock, AM PM concept, Roman numerals on the clock and international times. I was pleasantly surprised to see the world map and reference to latitudes and longitudes. I am pretty much sure that even a lot of adults do not have an understanding of the logic behind different time zones in the world. This concept is described in a very lucid manner.
I am positive that by the time me and my son are done with this book, he will be well versed with the concept of time and “Ahead of Time”!!!

Time-related books for children tend to have very basic information and hand-drawn clocks. I was pleasantly surprised that this book had so much more! From time zones, to nocturnal animals, to time management – this was a way for 6-8 year olds to thoroughly explore time. No gyaan or long paragraphs here either. Interactive exercises on each page made learning fun. My daughter’s been working on this book non-stop since we got it. It’s sparked plenty of conversations too.

Thank you Lit Joys for making learning fun, and for opening the doors to so much exploration for our little ones!

The City of Stars is a lovely book which vividly explains the environment friendly concepts to small kids. It has delightful illustrations and revolves around the wonderful character Abdu. I love the way the author has beautifully written the story and how Abdu contributes towards making our planet a better place to live in..My 6 year old and I love reading it everyday..I specially love the fact how it has helped my son understand sustainable environment friendly living and how he can contribute his little bit towards saving our planet..I would absolutely recommend this book for small kids

Time Story is the book about various concepts of time – Day & Night, Shadow Times, Roman clock, and even Time wasted by delaying works. Every page has a story and an activity to go along with it. It is a really helpful book to teach young ones about the value and meaning of Time.
