My Gulmohar tree is a story with real-life photographs that will make children fall in love with trees and greens (vegetables) and inculcate the values of respecting nature and protecting our environment. The experiential book also comes with a tree-shaped wooden board for children to create their own personalised tree using natural materials (flowers, leaves, etc) collected from the park. After completing the tree, they can display their creation on a wall in their room or hang it outside their room as a nameplate.

The writing is lucid, making it easy for the young readers aged between 5-12 years. My son loved the pictures which are wonderfully captured from the daily life of a child. The book speaks about the Gulmohar tree, it’s origin, tree plantation, life cycle and preservation thereby teaching a child the values to respect and love the mother nature. This book also comes with a personal experiential tree with which the little ones can experience and create their own Gulmohar Tree.
Overall, we really loved reading this book and I strongly recommend this book for the little ones, for I am sure they will begin to love nature with this book.
